Aveiro region has been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic and, there are some institutions in our community that needs protective materials. After taking notice of that we ordered a set of materials that we donated to Aveiro’s Firefighters and to “Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Aveiro”.
In total, 40.000 pairs of gloves, 50 personal protective suits and 100 protective glasses were delivered. In transit there are still 10.000 masks that, in the coming days, will be donated to the Aveiro’s Hospital and other local institutions.
Armando Levi, RODI’s CEO, says that “we usually support the local community and in a difficult time like this, the spirit of solidarity is fundamental. We heard about the needs of these institutions and we contribute with the donation of protective material, which is essential for these institutions. It’s a way of thanking them for what they do every day for all of us and for the extra effort during this period of the pandemic. I believe that with a spirit of solidarity and a lot of responsibility we will overcome this stage.”
